ANNOUNCING:
THE BUILDING OF THE EDUCATIONAL CENTER!
Plans and funds are starting to come together for the first large-scale building: the Educational Center!
IMPACT
This center will include four fully-equipped, modern classrooms, a library and study hall, a conference room, a computer lab and offices. These spaces will provide valuable education and training to hundreds.
GRANT
We are excited to announce that PLH received a $100,000 grant from UMCOR! This grant will cover the purchase of the steel frame for the building and the shipping of building materials as well as the purchase a water purification system and cover some current educational expenses. We want to thank UMCOR for partnering with PLH on these projects and we look forward to working together on more projects in the future!
BUDGET
The total budget of the project is $300,000. With the UMCOR grant and some initial fundraising, this project is one-third funded. PLH is seeking other grants and large contributions before launching a capital campaign.
